I agree they look killer. I was considering knock offs for my S-4 but they are like $800.00 for four. Ouch.

No kidding. Ok but first the cold air intake and exhaust. Just got off phone with Maier at Labreemotorworks. 3 weeks and counting till B7 exhaust and down pipes in a group buy. At least 34 horse to the wheels.

I saw some from a car show. Unless it was a strange red, it sure looked orange to me.

i bet you could tune it up it is the same engine unlike a bmw 330 and an m3, maybe full intake and exhaust with better injectors and plugs, new intake manifold, chip, i dunno, take it to audi maybe, i can't see intake+exhaust doing very much.

I have not seen anyone get 420hp out of the s4 v8. Just not enough modificaitons you can do to that platform. Single best improvement will be full back exhaust....maybe worth 25hp. Chip...maybe 5hp....intake....probably no change. I saw that someone on one of the boards was talking about a camshaft....not sure how that turned out or if they went through with it.
The rs4 engine is based on the same 4.2l v8 in the s4, but with significant changes...FSI direct injection system....changed internals that allow an 8250 red line and a 12.5-1 compression ratio.

No it looks like they come in weird ghetto colors. That color above sure looks orangeto me. I like solid colors like white, black and silver and crystal blue is ok. Those colors above are gaudy to me. No offense intended guys. Can't we all just get along?
