So i keep getting these codes i looked them up and this what they say
01113 error occurs intermittant
16684 misfire reconized
16687 cyclinder 3 missfire detected
16686 cylinder 2 misfire dectected
16689 cylinder 5 misfire dectected
ok when you get a missfire the CEL flashes, but mine is jsut always on and i have tons of power, just ruff on start up till warm up.
cant seem to make it go away i have changed plugs, ignition control modules, i checked the coils they are good, some of the rubber around the wires to the coils are cracked. that is the only thing i can find wrong with them. any help is welcome thanks

 

Have you swapped around the coil packs & plugs to see if the misfires followed the changes?
If not, you should do that, that would mean a failing coil pack & or plug.

If not, it might be the a EGT sensor, it can also be a failing coil pack amplifier, there on top of the air box. My next guess would be a CTS, MAF, or clogged injectors. All will take some time to figure out.

 

thanks .... i think i am going to seafoam the whole system this weekend cause i am coming up to a oil change really soon, cant hurt the car if i do that hope it helps. oh and i tried moving the coil packs no joy with that.
