So I bought 1 for 15.00 I thought what the hell. This thing is flexable. Should I install it on the car ,tape everything off and paint & clear it, My fear is the paint will flex off when I bend it to fit the trunk. I want to do cf trunk & lip next year thats why i didnt want to spend alot for it now.

 

You need to put flex additive in the paint when you mix it.

It's the same as painting a urethane bumper cover.

 

I bought the paint in a spray can. The color is dead on I tested it, I got primer,paint and clear,

 

if the paint is fresh you should be okay. if worse comes to worse you can install the spoiler and tape off the hole trunk area and paint it that way
