Default climate control trouble

if i have the ac on anything higher than low it shoots out like 80 degree heat when i want it like 70 btw its like 60 degrees here and it says its -3 on the instrument cluster

it fluctuated like one day it was 50 degrees out and it said it was -40

i dont know what the problem could be
i did a search and it doesnt seem like anyones had this problem

do i need to clean something or is it gonna be one of those expensive fixes?

i can live with it but i like sometimes not having to have the windows down constantly without the car fogging up instantly

wellthat's definately sounding like your temp sensor is gone haywire in the front bumper. It is located closer to the driver side, pull the fog light cover straight out and also take out the inner plastic fender in the wheel well out and look around you could see it and it looks like a bigger (1'-1 1/4') mono jack, kinda. Or it could a couple other weather sensors but check into that one first.

Just buy a new one, & change it out.
