Default Control arm bushings

My bushings are worn out and everytime i turn the wheel it gets this annoying click. The dealer gave me a 950.00 estimate. Has anyone had to do this and how much did you pay. Thanks.

The click noise is more likely your drive axle boots.... currently my are both torn and produce a clicking noise when I turn the wheel. If I remember it was about $1k to get both replaces and installed. I real it can be a real messy job.

Who gives a f? If vomit sprayed out of the boots I would still do it to save a grand.

That's a good point, check your CV Boots and see if any are torn. There are 4 in the front, twoo inner and two outer on each axle. You'll know right away if they're torn -- there will be grease flung all over the caliper, control arms, etc...

If the boots look good, jack up the front of the car, grab the wheel at 9 and 3 and wiggle back and forth. There should basically be no play. If there is play, just get the whole control arm kit from ECS. I believe it's about $500 for the whole set.
