I plan on installing my green coolant sensor soon, and was just wondering if thats the sensor right underneath the coolant tank?

also is a afterrun pump switch the same thing?

This information will be helpful for me as well since I just got the P0118 error code today which is the Coolant Temp Sensor. While searching for the part, I found both, the Green coolant sensor and the blue Temp switch at ECS Tuning. $6 for the green one and $35 for the blue one.... so there must be 2 different locations?

 

Go to Audiworld and search the B5 S4 Forum for Coolant Sensor. A member posted a great picture to my request for help with these 2 sensors.
