Default Counting the seconds til my b5 s4 arrives....

Hello everybody my name is Hank... I am a new jack to the Audi, S4 circle but not a stranger to euros....I just purchased an 01 S4 Blk/Blk w/37,400mi. on it!!! I am having it shipped to california from the east coast. It will be here tomorrow morning The original owner was from California moved there two months ago and decided he needed to buy a new b7 s4....[:@]b*st*rd... I bought it off of him for 19k never been chipped or tracked... only mod was 4k in a coil over suspension system( dont know company...) The only downfall is I had to get a tiptronic .....(DONT KILL ME) ...because this is going to be my daily driver. I commute from LA to Orange County ( up to an 1hr & Half) everyday[:@] and had just been through an 01 E46 330ci stick and was just tired of dealing with the drive .....too much sh*t when your on the phone doing business and driving on the 405 at rush hour with a stick.....Of course I have a million questions but lets start simply. My first question out there to all those b5 heads is what do I do exhaust wise first?!?!?! I am honestly clueless to what companies are top noch when it comes to audis. I need to keep it as simple as possible for now.
I.E. downpipe. exhaust. possibly intake but thats it. I am not trying to squeeze every last drop of HP out of it....Just yet.... I want to get into the k04's and needed upgrades but thats a little later down the line when I have some money and time. I want an exhaust that is throaty yet deep at the same time. I had just a supersprint dtm on my 330 and it was nice throaty enough to turn heads on the throttle and deep enough to set off car alarms in idle. I know that S4s are a lot more throaty than the 330. So what company should I go with???? and what model should I get???? I was look at this one Auto Speed Performance 3inch DP and 3inch Exhaust.. Tell me what you think price wise and sound wise FYI see video at bottom of catback exhaust page...I am looking forward to meeting a lot of fellow enthusiasts on this site....bye for now.

depends on what you want to spend of course...chip (GIAC x, APR or otherwise) is first step, intakes, DVs, some other plubming UGS (more for reliability)...then perhaps DPs (AWE, APR, Autospeed, etc all seem very nice...)...KO4s...done right ....is real $$$$

Chip SHOULD NOT come first by any means. You have to make sure that you replace your DV's and TBB, then make sure that your car is in perfect working condition, even if it means replacing the timing belt, water pump, etc. You dont want to chip a car not in perfect working conditions, or else you will cause loads of preventable damage on your motor. Then think chip, and soon after think exhaust/downpipes/piggies because chips are tuned (for the most part) to have these things, and not only will your car run faster, but smoother and better than it did before.
