Default Crappy Weekend

Went grocercy shopping on Sunday. There were 20 +mph winds so I parked pretty far away from other cars so I would not get hit by a run away shopping cart. Well I came out from the grocery store to see a shopping cart stuck under the mirror of my car! Nice dent and a lot of finite scratches from the cart rubbing back and forth on my car. Wish I would have parked next to another car because the only thing I accomplished from parking far away is letting the cart build up speed.

I would have gone into the store and talked to the manager, sometimes they will pay for it.

It was Wal Mart. (Yeah, Yeah, it was close and I was in a hurry.) They have signs right on their cart korals saying they are not responsible so I didn't even bother.

Anybody ever heard of Dent Doctor? Would that be a worthwile place to get the dent popped? Or is this a place I should avoid. The dent is a little bigger than a quarter and the paing does not appear to be scratched.

Yeah, the weather is finally starting to warm up so we should meet up again sometime. Did you do any mods to your car yet?

That is the worst fear when you love your car and take care of it. Some people suck and do not give a crap about other peoples things or there own. paintless dent repairs do work quite well sometimes. Most places these days will put a lifetime warranty on the work so you do not have to worry about it coming back. The urethane paints these days have great flexability and do not crack easily like the days of yester. I would take it to a reputable pdr place and see what they can do. If they are a good shop you will not notice the dent you once had.

everything i've seen dent doctor do turned out real nice. My friends rx-7(stock aluminum hood) got caught in the hail a few years back, a hundred bucks and they had it looking like new again, they were even able to get the dents out of the corner of the hood scoop with no problem

I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for the Dent Doctor. They guarantee their work. I will let you know how it turns out.

Thanks for all the input. Feel free to send "get well" cards if you want.

Good luck. All I can say is that nice cars are way to much stress.
