I just replaced drivers side cv boot. Man that is 1 messy job. I`ll do passenger side tomorrow. Had to hose myself down. That grease is some nasty stuff.

yea i used lots of gloves. i pulled the drivers side sensor today & broke the bolt so i had to drill it out, tap it and put a new bolt in it. sensor was clean, that just pissed me off so i gave up for the day and went swimming. i`ll do passenger side tomorrow.

Mechanic told me my boot was torn about 3 weeks ago. It just started making that horrid (balloon on balloon sound) screeching sound. Havent driven it since I heard that.

Just the boot need replacement?
