Difference between Stage 1 2 and 3
YA... so being very new to audi and coming across these very new terms for me the past few months, i have been wondering the difference between the 3 stages. I know it has to do with upgrading to chips and turbos, but which for what? and whats with the + (plus) and - (minus) stages?? just wondering because im sure im not the only audi newb out there.
These are minimum requirements
Stage 1 - Chip
Stage 2 - Chip + Exhaust
Stage 2+ includes everything short of new turbos
Stage 3 - New Turbos and fueling
Stage 3 minus - new turbos without fueling, just a tune and new fuel pressure regulator
Usually if you go full stage 3 youll also be doing dowmpipes and intercoolers. Theres a million variations and alof of parts that arent included in the stages system.

So what if I decide to put some exhaust on my beast? What stage would that be? I'm assuming nothing, I don't really care since I am trying to keep my original turbos as long as I can. So modding isn't too much of an option.
Yo man I'm not good at linking stuff so I will just tell you to go to youtube and type in "audi s4 a mod addiction" you should see something that catches your eye!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey sooks, I would love to chip my car, but I'm not risking any wear on my turbos. I know it sounds lame, but I'm in college and have other expenses that eliminate the funding for new turbos. Even though I would love to go just k04s with a little tuning. But it seems that exhaust doesn't really hurt the turbos so I figured I would do that, not for performance gains, but for the sound. So I guess for now I'll have to stick with whomping on all the little GTPs cruising around my town, jk.
