Ok been looking at a few body kits here and there I've put together a couple let me know what you guys think.

I'm open to other idea's as well. This would be if I bought a B5 S4....although I've been thinking about a B6 S4 as well just not sure I want the V8 I suppose.

IMO body kits on B5's are hideous, evenmost of the B6 kits. I'm really only a fan of Oettinger for B7's... now those are classy!

 

You don't even like the first one? It's a pretty mild body kit...

 

I agree. Rs4 mod on the stock bumper, stock, or oem rs4 in my opinion. Body kits don't look good on this car in my opinion.

 

Well I like some of the kits...and the RS4 bumper that fits the B5 isn't much different.... Looks a but bloated to me I don't know. Unless it's a different bumper I'm thinking of.

Well thats your opinion....but come the end of the day it is my car there for what looks good to me is important. It's not like I'm putting some ricey body kit on it with some enormous wing.

Ricey? I don't mean to be mean but you must not know what ricey is. A body kit that drastically changes the shape or lines of the car does not belong...none of those do that. Something like lets say an EVO style body kit? That would be rice you know with the giant fog light holes and all that. A skyline body kit? thats pretty rice. These things are rice but those are very subtle body kits and do not look bad at all. I mean maybe if I painted the car neon green and put a bunch of NOS stickers all over I could see where you guys are coming from.... but this is like nothing! I could find much worse body kits and I've seen much worse.

 

I think this is a bit more drastic then the first body kit I posted and it's not even that bad....my only real problems with it are the funky wings on the bottom of the front bumper and the hoodpins are a little not my taste. But even still this car is not ricey. Now something like this!



This is a little ricey to me the holes in the bumper don't match the car at all and the whole thing just doesn't look right. This is the worst S4 I could find as far as riceyness I didn't look that hard though. You know whats rice, the other day I saw a yellow honda civic with Porsche headlights and an EVO body kit on it. Now thats Rice so I don't know how you can compare the first body kit to something like that.


How do you guys feel about this? It's the RSR kit? I think it's based off the RS4 designs.
