So i am going to win the contest of asking the most dumb questions on this website, but here goes. I have seen and heard some chitchat about drilling holes in the airbox on my S4 to bothgenerate more power and to give it the "turbo whoosh" sound. I have heard a bit of controversy over it as well. Is it beneficial or not? My b5 S4 is stock otherwise, no chips, exhaust or anything other than a k & n filter. Thanks for the help guys.

Well i personally havent done it, yet. I plan on doing it after i get some of my engine mods. I know that it definetly produces more power at stage 2 and up, but i dont think it does that much for a stage 1/ stock. Many have said it makes more of a noiese, and other say it doesnt, so i guess it depend about your ears i guess.

 

Its not going to give you power worth the trouble till you go stage 3. Then, it will depend on what sort of stage 3 route you decide to go.
