it's time for some k04's!!.. I got a guy who prob getting them for me. but everything else i'll be shopping. so just need inlets/ harware and some fueling for now. looked at ecs, ach, and avalon. if anyone that could suggest something ( i know its been beating to death) that would be greeeeeat. it's my morning after my bday party, so im not in the best shape right now! haha, time for skiing, lol.

 

you could try calling VAST performance. heard they had a nice set-up.

 

Thats a bummer but your about to have a very fast s4. The k04's and inlets + hardware should be the same everywhere, but as far as fueling goes youve got some choices.

I agree with camo a6 vast would cook you up whatever you want

 

I seriously have nightmares about the dreaded turbo whine every now and then. When I wake up it's the biggest relief ever when realize it's just a dream.

^^^ hey how do u like the apr fueling with yr stage 3? I am getting my turbo's cheap (used) and his fueling is apr. not that cheap. 4 programs. I can't wait to get my car all set up!!

I wish I had gone with GIAC now. I just have thek04s with a APR 93 oct. program and a 5b fpr. It runs about 15-16 lbs throughout the revs, which is better than the k03s did but they have much more potential and the non stage 3 APR software doesn't push them as much as I'd like. I called APR and they basically told me (in other words) that their software isn't designed to be modified like some of the other brands. So I was like, whatever.......

 

ya I have a new guy I'm buying from. new KO4's and AWE/ GIAC fueling. I figure go new or I could regret it. plus AWE has a great setup with 5 programs. plus awe intercoolers, some dp's, and rs4 clutch. and some other stuff! great price on labor too! I start purchasing next week!

so getting my KO'4s is taking a little longer than hoped. but the check's in the mail tomorrow. so I should be getting them within 2 weeks. also I will be getting a custom fueling set up that is said to be able to run high 11's - low 12 on pump 93 and to remain great daily drivability. still looking for IC's. I was looking at ER IC's, but the next batch won't be available for another 4 months or so! those are suppose to be the best out there right now. looking at stage 3 clutch. prob vast. street density 034 engine/tranny mounts. considering custom DP's, if not the piggies. everything seems to change the more I look. also changing shops b/c the one I was going to get it done from is very sketchy supposedly and the one I getting quoted from is supposed to be great!

 

yea mine has the cold start screm rihgt now and i got some cheese sititng in the bank waiting for nicer weather. Seeing as how your in Mass. look into EPL in Strataford, Conn. or ESP in Sterling Mass.
I will be doing PJ K04's, ER ic's, same mounts as you and also snub mount and the fueling will be custom EPL. Cant Wait! aiming for late April.
