Yea, that one is Air to air right? is that the one form Ebay?.... Yea it will work only problem is you will need to make brakets for it and get your own piping. Deffinatley the cheapest way to go but it still isnt proven with the type of results your gonna get. Didnt Autospeed eventually make their or somehting i forgot.

Of course it will work. But do you really gain any performance that is the question.
The piping is much longer then SMIC, and also FMIC all seam to have some crazy bends.
While they may be thermally better, with the pipe length, & bends it may be a wash in performance.
The problem is no one has done before or after logs to see if the car is in fact "faster"
I'd be interested in seeing some before & after test with IAT, & requested/accual boost logs.
Of course some FATS times.
The best IC I've seen of the S4 is a FMIC, that both inlets go into the same core, the core is top vented right into the throttle body, so short pips, all outside of the hot engine bay, & less curve & length over stock.
Autospeed FMIC is NOTHING like the eBay one. They say it will be out "soon"

RE: dual fmic really work?
I bought my 2001 Audi S4fmic kit off Ebay from Audi Performance Tuning a few months ago and I'm very pleased with the performance. The price was reasonable too, I paid $799. I actually installed it myself in about5 hours, that included the removal of my stock smic's. I had the front bumper removed and re-installed at a local shop for $75. They provided me with installation instructions and the pipe kit came pre-assembled so it wasn't too complicated. Also, with regards to the pressure drop. The IC pipe kit it came with is short route piping and routes back to the stock smic silicones. Obviously, the IC itself is larger than the stock smic's, but once you do a chip upgrade which i've done, pressure drop is no longer an issue. I would not have bought it if it wasn't short route fmic pipes, it would have been too complicated and costly to install. Here's some photos of my installation.
