Default Dyno Times 2000 s4.....let me know what u think.

Ok........So I just got back from the dyno........And well....

Here are the numbers

First run was on a stock setting
whp 201.86 tq 229.24
second run was on chiped setting unsure of the octane
whp 242.08 tq 304.14
and third was same as second (setting)
whp 237.36 tq 295.02

I'm not tooo happy with the numbers. Here is a list of stuff I have done.
It is chipped like I said before not sure of the octane rating but it is APR
High flow cats
K&N drop in
and dirverter valves (no hp ) but it will rule out the boost leak for them.

Now the only problem I can think of is the tbb leaking boost.

Because I just went with my other friend and his 2000 S4 His first was
whp 281 tq 336
Second was
whp 263 not sure of tq
and third was
whp 252
And all he has done is a chip. And he was switching sittings also. Either he has something wrong with his car or I do. Really looking foward to the info. Please help

Your numbers were actually slightly better then mine when I dynoed last summer. I was having a variety of issues though - including a cooling leak and related and perhaps even unrelated heat soak issues - so I ended up with just over 220hp and 270Tq to the wheels - waaay disapointing - but I was overheating a bit and that heat is never good w/forced induction. Anyway I don't think you necissarily have a boost leak at all - but may want to make sure your chip is flashed with the latest program and that everything else is functioning as it should be.

they are a bit low. Replace your TBB even if it isnt torn right now, cuz it will. That may be a source. what year are you? if you are pre-2001.5 it could be your f hose.

So I was doing some math, the power loss from stock is about the same from the 91 oct chip possiably running on a old program. I wrote APR a e-mail trying to figure out what program I have. I have the orginal owners info so maybe he was the one who installed it. There were 2 owners before me.

here is the link to my civic and dyno pull

for anyone who gives a crap I talked to APR today and he also said the numbers were a little low. he said most likly that it is a old program and a 91 octane. So like I said before I'm going to have it done up on friday.
