Hey all,

I just finished these on my 01 S4. I have to say, the guys at ECS are pretty good. For anyone that already has some performance springs and Bilstein shocks, I recommend this kit, it mates up very nicely to your existing pieces. I just did my fronts for the time being and it was only $150.

Had some problems though, turns out, the dude that had the car before me had the springs on upside down and had 2 different Bilstein shocks on the front. They were close to the same part, but the snap ring on one sat a little bit higher than the other, thus affecting making one side a little higher than the other. I just hope it didn't damage any control arms. After finding this out, I called Bilstein and they stood behind their warranty and let me exchange the wrong shock for the right one for 1/2 price!

I'll definitely continue to give ECS and Bilstein my business, great customer service!

Also, The driver side pic was taken before the lower perch height was adjusted, so it's lower than the passenger side.

sense this is a thread about coilovers, I was looking hard at the H&R coilover package from AWE. Anyone have them or have any opinions on them. I'm just not sure I want to throw down 1200 bucks right now, plus i haven't really looked at other options.

I want the stiffest ride possible, something that will rattle teeth, and turn on a dime.
