Anyone have experience with the ECS OE Replica Rotors? They claim a significant weight reduction for the fronts (less for the rears).

Also they come in two different configs, both the same price....Slotted or Slotted and Cross Drilled. Is the cross drilled just a cosmetic thing? Is there any performance characteristic difference between between the crossdrilled on non cross drilled rotor?

Cross drilled will help with initial pad bite. They do however tend to crack when used in heavy compition situations like track days or even auto-x. If you compete in these type events I would suggest going with the slotted, if not either one is more than suitable for street use, and look 100% better than the stock rotors.

There are 2 guys over on Audiworld.com that are running those.

The cross drilling is completely cosmetic.

As Andy said, if you drive them HARD, they can crack easier than just slotted.
Plus, slotted only rotors usually get rid of the gasses quicker, keeping things cooler.

They look great. Function just fine, so I'd say go for em with no worries.

I'm going to do a Stop Tech kit, as I plan to track the car a bit.
