When I pull out of the drive way I notice a EEERRRRRR sound at low rpm in all gears. I stopped and reved the engine. Its only at low rpm on a rev but is more consistant when driving with a load on the engine. I checked the fluids and my Power Steering Fluid ( I think) is low, below the MIN line. Could that be possibly what is making that noise? I looked at the cap and it said something do to with mineral?? What type of power steering fluid do you use?

 

im not sure on the type of fluid but that could absolutely be your problem, get some in there b4 you fry the powersteering pump

 

use only audi approved fluid. it will have the "minerals"

 

I use PENTOSIN CHF 11S
Sound should be worse when you turn the wheel.

 

are you chipped?? and do you have a boost gauge? mine makes a noise not like that but in same conditions
