Default Eliminating "hop"

There was another thread that touched on this but I can't find it, and it made me curious about suspension tuning.

I recently got Bilstein PSS9s installed and the handling is much much better. However, there is still a bit of front-end hop when pushing it hard through a turn. There is less now than there was before but it's definitely still there. Is it possible to tune the suspension to get rid of it completely? Will getting the 60/40 mod get rid of it (I've heard it's the best thing you can do for handling)?

What's the 60/40 mod? and what do you mean by hop? is it when your turning but the car feels it should go straight?

There is a mod you can get for the B7 that redistributes the power so it's 60% to the rear and 40% to the front. Apparently it really helps with understeer. The RS has it, I believe.

What I mean by hop is that when going into a corner hard, and especially accellerating out of it, the front end bounces. Not the whole front of the car, but more like the suspension is not putting the wheels back on the ground fast enough. I thought maybe decreasing the dampening might help with that. It's much more pronounced if you hit a bump in the middle of the turn.

I know what you are talking about you need a new center diff that can let you split it that way. as for the understeer you will still get that it comes with the car that has the high weight. you know newtons laws and ****, Hope this helps

I also heard if you remove your front sway bar or go down to a less thicker bar it helps improve understeer. And i haven't seen what your talking about with "hop" but that's interesting.

Too hard? Too soft? Mine are pretty new so I won't be getting them replaced anytime soon, but good to know for when I do. I may switch to lighter rims while I'm at it. Depends on whether or not I'm going to spring for a supercharger.
