ESP cutting in early, any suggestions?
The ESP cuts in on my 01.5 S4 Tip under heavy acceleration pretty regularly. It's generally when revving between 3K-4.5K and occurs say when pulling onto the freeway or when accelerating from a stop and I want to give it some juice.
The ESP light usually flickers, and sometimes I get the noticable cut in engine power. I'm thinking maybe I have a bad longitudinal sensor, but the light is not on permanently, it's just an early kick in of the ESP.
I usually just shut it off to avoid the problem, but I do like the idea of having a little anti-stupidity protection from the ESP.
Anyone have any suggesstions?
