I think recall reading a few posts where others had stated that they may crack under heat if they are madeof thin material. Also, I believe someone added that the stock manifolds aren't that restrictive considering how small the exhaust ports in the turbine housings are. That is a very good price though; almost too good.

ooooooh they are shiny coool... but really they look small can't tell the size being just pictures, should have some dimensions. Also the cheap thing i don't know he may just want to get the bids started or they aren't worth that much in that case I do not trust cheap stuff aka the reason we own S4's. They look thick on the bolting face though.. too bad they couldn't stay shiny forever...

Don't get fooled they are from china and they will crack not only that but the fitment is totally off. If you are really looking for good solid power just port your stock exhaust mani, There are several people that say this works as well as the aftermarket headers..If you don't feel comfortable doing the porting your self there are several companys out there that offer this

Unless you have everything else done on the car & searching for the last few HP, then the headers are a way to go. But name brand ones.

The problem with headers on the 2.7t, is you need to remove the engine to change them out, & they are in a very, very hot place. Even the AWE ones have cracked on some cars. If you are throwing in K04's get the coated, ported ones from VAST.

i would absolutely not get them. headers are a bastard and a half to replace. thats something you want to do once.

OEM manifolds are the only way to go. just remember, the fastest K04 car ever runs OEM manifolds

the fastest oem car has a literal ton of weight shaved off of it. but yea i agree. i was speaking to a guy who now lives in canada at EPL about his car and he was telling me about his manifolds from AWE. he had to pull his from the monifolds cracking. that **** is for the birds. sean did we actually just get along?
