I was wondering if anyone had a stratmosphere hypershift short shifter in their 2000-2002 s4. If so how do you like it and compare it to others? I had a b5 a4 with a stratmosphere SS and loved it so was thinking about going with another one of theirs for my new s4.

 

So has no one ever heard of these before ? What is the most popular short shifter for the s4.

 

like to help you about the one you had, never heard of them, but personally I'm with UUC shortshifter they are rather old and a BMW mostly company but their shortshifter is completely german, aka it fits audi's

I have heard nothing but good things about stratmosphere. It has been reccomended to me by numerous people including tony at status auto, the shop i go to. I hear it is a great shifter, if you have used it before and liked it i would reccomend that you buy it again.

Everyone has their own opinion on which short shofter is feels best. Maybe this will help a little..

B&M is popular, but some people say it is notchy.

UUC no longer makes audi products (according to 2ks4 in a thread this past march) However the stratmosphere is very similar to the old UUC.

Jayb has the JHM solid short throw shifter in his car and there are some videos of some seriously quick shifting with it. It looks like a very good shifter. If i were you i would at the very least look at this and search it in this forum.

Thanks for the help I appreciate it. I do think Im going to go with the stratmosphere or the JHM, now I just have to decide which one is best for me.
