Hello everyone,

As i said in the intro section i am new to the boards. I am looking to mod a V8 S4 when the price on them drops a bit and i have my current car paid off. I have been scanning the boards but am looking for a few specific bits of info so i can learn more about the cars. I know most of you favor starting with the 2.7TT platform, but i have wet dreams about TTing a 4.2L V8. My current engine of 2.4L is more than enough to push a GT3076R, so who knows, two GT30R's? Two T46's for quicker spool? One can dream...

Anyway, i have heard these cars have a nasty redline (versus my 6200) but i was wondering about the compression as well. Anyone know what the engines and drive trains are good until they pop? Any idea what they put down AWD to the wheels stock? Good experiences, bad experiences? Let me know! Thanks and its nice to meet all of you.
