Today i was bored, so i decided to do the 2 mods ive been planning on doing for a while...

The first was the darintake mod:



Then i was inspired by another member on AW, and decided to do the RS4 grill mod since i had all the stuff for it... I just need to figure out how to do the middle piece easily...

Where did you get the grill from.. and what was all involved in installing it. do you have a write up you followed?


also, i saw on audizine you also through in the superwhite bulbs for the fogs.. i just ordered mine yesterday and will be put in next weekend as well as superwhites for the high beams and finally the cc mod.

 

Yah i put em in, they are really nice, im very pleased with them, the pics i took you cant really tell, but they are really bright and a good color. Im actually upgrading my ballasts soon, cuz one is shot, so im gonna upgrade both.

 

i was looking into doing that.. but it aint that cheap... and since im getting wheels soon, im gonna wait to do that till after. Where are you getting the ballasts from. i also assume your doing 50w.

I have yet to hear an S4 w/ the darintake mod... any chance of getting a video clip?

how do u like the mod? sound, throttle response etc?

 

The throttle response is definetly noticably better. Sound... I'll have to get back to you, its raining out here, so when i do open my windows to hear it, all i hear is the tires on the wet ground, but ill post up a sound clip t ogive u an idea, im not even sure if it changed that much yet! I am doing the 50w ballast upgrade from Supreme Power Parts. They aer great guys to deal with and if you do plan on upgrading, i highly suggest them!
