Fi-tment?Black Audi rims w/ polished lip (pics)
Hi I just picked up a 2000 black on black tip. I am seriously considering getting these black rims to complete the look.
http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=dw48c6&s=3
They are 19x 8 sized and I was told by the seller I would need 235/35R19 tires. I want to make sure they would fit with no rubbing. Also would I need spacers or special lugs? I would also like to hear opinions on if a 19” rim would give a bad ride or a noticeable difference in performance or handling.
Thanks for any help or opinions.

on the pic it says they are 20' and that the s4 is not labled as a car it fits. what is its lug bolt pattern, you need to know that for the lug question. Also spacers are a yes for that big and wide.

they look cool, and would probably look awesom on a black S4, but if they dont fit, dont get them. plus, you might not want to do anything over 18s if you enjoy the ride of the S. its gets pretty harsh with heavy 19s on it.

id go with 18" wheels over the 19's but thats a personal choice. (ride comfort, pot holes, price of tires, increased weight, sometimes odd look on the b5 sedan (not avant though!))
Bolt pattern is 5x112, 35mm offsett works well.
Theres alot of black wheels with a chrome lip(I have Sterns), and on alot you can put audi centercaps in (those arent audi wheels). I dont know if you have your heart set on those specific wheels but if you can id get those in 18x8.5 , or find a different wheel in 18x8.5 with 235 wide rubber
On Car
Brilliant Black FTW
The polished/chrome lip is necessary on a Black/Black/Black car IMO

Thanks for the quick replies. I know these pics are of 20s but I spoke to seller and they come in a 19x8. He said they also have an 18 but would not get them back in for months. The seller said the 19's would fit a B5 S4 for sure. I really do like the look of these particular rims, but I am open to other options. It was mentioned that there are other wheels which would take Audi centercaps (I know these are not real Audi rims). Could I have some examples of black w/ polished lip that would work with the center caps? On another note is it general consensus that 19's are just too big for our cars? I don't want to lose any performance or handling but I do want the wheel wells filled. Also I guess it is always better to have a wheel that is wider (8.5 as opposed to 8") no? I'd like to hear all thoughts and opinions.

I agree with Hp, I have 19's and am thinking of droping down to 18's. I have had two bent wheels in the last month from hitting pot holes. At $80 a repair it is going to be expensive to keep the 19's

This is what 19s look like on a lowered B7. They rub a bit but only if I hit a bump in the middle ofa turn, which is more a result of the lowering than the width of the tires. These fit without spacers, but they're heavy.
