My headlights are very dim. I have been looking at the HID upgrade for some time and decided to bite the bullet today. I checked my lamps to get a model number and I have Osram Xenarc D2S lamps. Woohoo, I already have HID, I just need new lamps.I found a new pair on ebay for $100.

 

Mine are a little dim also [:@]! Correct me if I'm wrong becuase I prolly am, but don't all S4's have HID's?

Oh, I thought it was an option. Why do they sell HID upgrade kits for our cars. Maybe for the A4.

Hello there folks,
I am having a problem with my Xenarc over driver's side. I just got brand new one out of Advanced AutoParts , plug that in and intermittency is still there. So its either on or off with that German sign warning. My understanding that igniter is the=at box where the bulb is attached so it is not removable. I'll try to place it over passenger's side to see if the thing is working. After that what could be the next to look?
