Default Forge MBC Hookup

I just bought the forge MBC before I checked the forum. It appears that several people have said that the forge can't work because of the 3 prong and it definately doesn't replace the N75. Well, I took it apart and the top two prongs are straight through. This actually replaces one of the T connectors in the popular parallel diagram. Please take a look and let me know if this will work. I'm going to try it tonight more than likely. The only thing I don't like is the forge isn't a check valve, it is a tapered flange. Therefore, it will allow some air to get by all the time which may affect the ramp of boost when I want the waste gate completely closed.

Yeah that diagram looks allright to me the mbc is taking the place of the T fitting that would normally join the pressure to the waste gate from the n75 and the mbc

It works, but just as I suspected the lack of a check ball lets it bleed all the time, not just during the peak. This results in a limit through the whole band. I talked to ECS about not selling this any more, but they probably won't listen. Although, they are taking it back.

It takes 10 minutes. Just follow this diagram. Look at the flange on the picture to be sure you use the correct output and input.

man thats great, thanks. that pic makes a lot more sence than the one on vast. im getting real bad boost spikes from ***** to the wall 22psi to a steady 15. i want to try to keep it at a steady 15psi. i like the power i get from 22 but it sucks to feel that unsteady surgein power id rather have it smooth. i did a post on this before a got a lot of good infobut never got a good answer to my question(how to stop boost spikes). but any other info would be great. i wonder why people dont like to use mbc without ko4s.thanks again

What would happen if you removed the N75 and ran just the MBC?
