Default ******* *** HOLE! and a question

ok two totally unrelated topics, but first of all i am beyond pissed off right now because some *** hole slashed all 4 of my $230 yokohamas! not only that but he went around and slashed a lot of other peoples tires too apparently. just had to vent that

as for my question, i noticed that my alarm seems to go off randomly a lot. unless my panic button gets pressed inside my pocket and it picks it up from inside my house, i think there might be something wrong. what triggers the alarm on the 01.5 b5's, and have any of you had the same problem?

Might be the interior motion sensor, its a little button on the drivers side on the pillar to the left of your seat. It happened to me all the time last summer, turn it off and see if the problem goes away

Do you leave your windows open? Wind used to trigger mine. I just started leaving my windows up.

Agreed. The interior motion sensor is so touchy. I left a towel on my dashboard last summer, no windows open, sunroof closed and I guess the stupid sensor didn't like the towel because the bastard kept going off until I moved the towel. Push the button on the driver's side pillar while watching the little red LED next to the door lock post, it should light up to tell you the alarm has been deactivated.

Keep in mind, the alarm stays deactivated after locking the doors and will reactivate after unlocking the doors.

ok thats sounds about right. thanks for the info guys. i always wondered what that button did. i though it had something to do with the interior lights haha. leave it to audi to make an over protective alarm. they care so much

as for my tires, it seems as though it was an absolutely stupid senior prank from my old high school. i just graduated last year so i guess thats why i was hit. something like 38 kids got their tires slashed and police are investigating. if its that many then thats about 20k in property damages which is beyond a felony and these dumbass kids will be doing some time. and because of this no one will be receiving an actual diploma tomorrow at their graduation until the culprits are found. the prank that me and 4 friends did last year will never be topped because of its greatness and HARMLESSNESS so these bitches failed at that too.

yea its an R6. actually turns out the three kids got arrested, one was 18 and hes doing 3 to 5 and another got expelled with juvy and the last only did one so hes just paying for that one car. our prank last year was to break into the gym lobby and cover it with 600 ounces of baby oil, then we threw out about 60 pool floaties and we put up a bunch of signs explaining that we as seniors were better than them but that they should have some fun with the floaties and baby oil.
