By how much did you beat them by? Was it from a dig or a roll?

Nice Kill bro... Yeah, my girl has an '04 G35 and I'm am able torun right there with her. I also took out a stock '07 WRX last sunday (from a roll and then form a dig), and a Porsche Carrera for a little bit too (I had him from a dig all through 1st and most of 2nd, and then he pulled on me nasty!). To bad the Porsche guy was all cocky the next light, like I shouldn't haveeven tried him... I told him thathe almost got beatbyaSTOCK 4-dr sedan, and that after a chip & exhaust (and maybe some extras too...)he might be in for alittlesurprise

My friend has an 04 G35 and wants to race me in my 2001 s4 6spd, probably meet at the 1/4 mile track in a couple weeks to see. So I should have a good chance then?

Um, you didn't say whetherit was a coupe or sedan... it'll be a little bit closer with a coupe, so be careful. If he hooks up well and you bog it, he might have you...

07 coupeG35's are running 13.4 to 13.7's. What does you S run? How much power are you putting down.

I've always really liked the G35 - particularly the coup. (I recently had a brand new 07 awd sedan as a rental - it rocked as a rental certainly and was nice all around - lots of oomph [auto though I often used the tip shifting]- but felt a bit truck/SUV like [up high a bit and just felt bigger then it was] - AWD platform to blame perhaps - nobody does it like Audi IMO...) I might have bought one in 04 - instead of the BMW - except for a number of factors - not so much trunk room (coup), salespeople & manager at dealer were a holes (wouldn't let me drive the car - the "test drive" was them driving it around with me in the passenger seat...= no sale from them certainly...Volvo folks were the same way with the S60R...d icks), and picking up the Bimmer in Europe was way cool and I wanted to do it...so no Jap neese this time round...all that being said - I've yet to have a G35 even take me in my BMW (close but I've always triumphed throughout)...and I just toy with them in the S4 (even when I was Stage II)...and in fact a hole G35 drivers seem to be in abundence and often need to be tought "lessons" etc...(where is that grinny smiley face when you need it eh?)
