Hey so i recently bought a giac x chip and now with the added tourque it only makes sense to get the giac tip chip. I cant find it anywhere. No one seems to answer my posts or have it so im posting it in the s car forums saying that im in need of it.

I dont wanna drive all the way to awe tuning and pay the $500 for it so im looking to see if someone on these forums has it and would be willing to let it go for cheaper.

 

Have you checked all of the forum classifieds? AW, AZ? Craigslist, ebay?

 

go to GIAC website...search for closest dealer, call them.

 

yeah or if you ask deb38 i think you can just vag com the setting into the tip tranny.

 

thats the 00032 code....its different.

 

yes i spent a couple of hours on the forums, and that code just makes it so that the car doesnt auto shift into 2nd. Im not worried about that i need the tranny to change faster because of more hp/tqe. Im gonna try calling giac and maybe there is another dealer that has a better price because awe quoted me 700 with installation and i can buy an exhaust for that much.

i am going to down the road. I think the tip chip is more needed now becuase i cant screw up my transmission cause i dont have any money right now to repair it.

 

I have been running the GIAC X chip with a W/M kit and have not had any tranny problems. Just blew the engine up... long story... partially my fault...

it wont kill your trans....i am stage 3- and have nothing done to mine, and its fine. if you just drive it in tip, you dont have all the gear hunting issues.
