I got the front H&R ultra coilovers installed today. Theres about a finger gap, and I run 18's. The back hasn't been installed yet, so there's a bit of a rake. I took it for a ride and driving down the road I would hear popping noises, almost like packing peanuts popping. It did not change when I turned the wheel, and I checked for rubbing, which there was none of. I was not traveling at a high rate of speed either. Any ideas what it could be? Will it be safe to drive on?

 

check the fit of the spring in its seats, both upper and lower. had a similar problem onmy buddysvr6 golf, springs werent seated right and it was bangin.
