Help Please
Recently I installed my H&R coilovers, and ever since then I have had a ticking sound come from my driver side when I turn right. Does anybody know what this could possibly be from? It was really bad when I had the car super low, and it kinda went away when I raised it a little bit. Any input is much appreciated.
Is it a clunking (or maybe even a popping) noise? I had the same sh!it on my last B5 right after doing coilovers but I didn't get a chance to check into it (finished coilovers then some old man hit me like 2 days later and totaled my car)
I think it's an upper control arm where the pinch bolt connects the CA to the suspension upright or whatever the hell it's called. Jack up the front, grab the tire at 9 and 3 and wiggle it back and forth in the direction the steering wheel turns the wheels. Is there any play? Clunking noise? There should basically be none if your control arms are in good shape.
Let me know what the outcome of this is, I'm interested since I never got the chance to do it to mine.
Also, when you tightened the lower CA to the shock mount, did you put pressure on the suspension using a jack or something?

No rubbing at all, It's all completly stock tire size wise, and it doesnt do it when I turn the other way.I'm thinking it might be what meat said I'll check it out in my next day off and see if thats it. I'll let you all know when I find out. Thanks for the replys.
Also, if it is a control arm, you should be able to see the damaged bushing sort of peeling downward. I remember seeing a pic of one a while back on Audizine or somewhere else, Ill see if I can find it.
