Hello all,

I need a new propeller shaft (aka rear driveshaft?) for my 2006 S4. Two questions.

First: When looking at used parts, I see a couple options I have to select from, and do not know how to tell which I have. Can someone help me figure out if I have:

A. Manual Transmission Convertible, or
B. Manual Transmission exc. Convertible?


Second question:

I see many used prop shafts that came from an A4, and the sellers state that the shaft from the A4 will work fine in my S4. I want the same part though, no compromises. Can anyone confirm that the A4 uses the same prop shaft as the S4?
