Hey Everyone
Wanted to say hey to everyone on this forum, and introduce myself. I had a shop building Mustangs for street/strip in the 90s, until a few years ago. Cars from simple bolt ons to ground up how fast do you want to go. I realize the Audis are not Mustangs but, power adders, fuel injection, transmissions, etc all operate on the same principles. Hopefully I can be of some help. At any rate, I just bought an 01 S4 with 39K miles on it. Stock with auto trans, black on black.Chips for trans andmotor, and exhaust will get me started. Pics to follow after I pick the car up.
Thanks for the welcome. I still have an '85 Capri. Street legal but, not real streetable. Stright line is scary fast. Corners............much worse. LOL. Sweeds4, got the auto because that's what was in it, and my wife wants to drive it. She can't drive a stick, and I don't want to replace clutches and syncrosall the time. [:@]I go to Va to pick up the car middle of next week. Looking forward to playing around.

It was the Mercury equivalent of the 'Stang. They are much rarer these days, and kind of set you apart from the normal 5.0 Fox crowd.

Right now..........nothing. It went 9.20 @ 145 with the old setup.I got talked into seling the power train out of it before ever running it, after some changes. The guy I sold the new stufftowent 8.61 @ I can't remember in a similar but heavier car. 347 stroker smallblock on spray. The S4 should be lots of fun to play with.
Yep, Batteries. I didn't change the hatch out for fiberglass because I wanted to keep the bubble hatch.
