can anyone tell me how 2 take the cruse control stalk out ? of an audi s4 2000

 

Disconnect battery. Loosen 2 t30 screws in the back of the steering wheel to remove the airbag. You must also remove connector for airbag. Yes the screws are in those holes and no they dont come all the way out. Make sure you lay the airbag face up. Remove bolt for steering wheel. Its either a 10 or 12 triple square. Always replace bolt. The spiral sprink is next. Its just clips onto the signal stalks in four places. Also remove any relevant connectors. Next loosen the band that hold the switchs to the steering column. Pull both switchs off the column. Remove and screws holding the two pieces together. It may just clip together. You should be able to look at the new one and see how the two stalks are connected.
