My antenna amplifier is on the fritz, so I need to remove the d-pillar trim. Anyone have any tips on how to get it off without wrecking it. Also, anyone know where to get an antenna amplifier besides the dealer?

 

i would say remove it carefully. Sorry thats all i have. adn how do you know your antenna amp is bad?

 

My radio won't receive AM stations any more, and most FM stations are getting fuzzy. The In dash cd player, and changer work fine, as does the tape player, so it seems like the best place to start.

But yea problem with radio reception is it can be anywhere in the antenna wire not just the antenna itself.

 

I have never had good recption in my car and when i put a fm modulator in for the ipod it got even worse. I live in So Cal and get almost no reception anywhere. I just thought it was another piece of fine engineering by Audi.

Sedans have a d-pillar as well, the c pillar is part of the rear door frame, the rear window attaches to the d pillar behind that.
