I would not be too worried... Call them and see what the dealership said and check the front radiator support to see if it was repaired or replaced.. You are getting it cheap enough even if it needs a little something..
If it is chipped and exhaust, that is a Stage 2 S4.. there is at least $2000 in upgrades with rims, suspension, boost gauge, exhaust...

I wouldn't be concerned about the full size spare either, odds are he pawned off the stock wheels seeing as having one 17" wheel would do him no good. As for the grill discoloration..I can't find it, not really sure where it is...oh well. The car looks nice, I was actually just randomly checking out s4's on ebay the other day and I was looking at that exact car. Also I believe a chipped s4 runs well over 17 psi of boost (chipped). I believe it hits around 20.

Anyone know what kind of shift **** that is?

*Wastegate DUMPS boost @ 2000 RPM
*Dealer says it just the mass air flow sensor and that he will fix it???.. I mean i heard these cars dump boost in error but this freaken car almost stalls when it dumps.
THERE IS A LIGHT THAT POPS UP WHEN IT DUMPS.. IT LOOKS LIKE A HALF CIRLCE ARROW ? (Recycle looking symbol)
*Boost gauge reads a nice 6-7 psi before dump... I didnt see any common boost leaks.(boots, DV's...)
*Turbo spooled nice before dump.
*Springs looked like they were ghetto droped.. Looked like cut or torched stock?? caca
* Interiors fenders were rolled" too fit the big wheels with the drop.
*DONT FORGET THE AIR BAG LIGHT IS ON
*exhaust was nice...
I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

 

i'd say tell him to take a cuple g's off the price for the problems that you gotta fix...

you'd end up with an s4 with 70k for 9 grand... maby 8... i got my 98 a4 for that...

that would be the ultimate steal...
