i hate cops that think they are the shizit!!!!
so the title should speak for itself..
today i get pulled over for my window tint in the front ..it is illegal in nh ..so when i get pulled over today the cop comes up to my window gets my license and what not and goes back to his cruiser..then a 2nd cop shows up..they are by their cars talking for 10 minutes..then they both approach the window the one that actually pulled me over gives me the lousy 43 dollar ticket and the 2nd cop that showed up stands their with his will smith glasses on and makes a smart *** comment "we dont get paid enough to deal with little punks like you" i say i know you dont but how is that my fault??
he then opens my door grabs me by my jacket and pulls me out of my car..he then proceeds to search me and the s4 throwing all my **** in the backseat around and not caring at all what he is doing..they find nothing and let me go on my way...
now my question is ..isn't this violating my rights?? for what reason do they feel the need to search my possessions for a window tint ticket and me asking the officer his name..and the funny thing i when they were searching me i asked "the reason why you guys are searching me is cause i asked you your name?? he says NO we were gonna do this anyway..well if you were going to do that anyway why did you give me my ticket and tell me to be on my way?? then i ask for his name and he starts telling me none of your business you don't need my name..i say yeah i want your name you are here pulling me over i want your name..then hew gets pissed and rips me out of my car..
now what probable cause did they have to rip me out and search my possessions??

his name is on the ticket he issues you...
your sort of fighting a losing battle here, when you have been pulled over, the officer has full control of the situation and does have the right to search you. If you were to have acted up against him/them, it would have been "resisting" and they may have tazered orshot you.
the fact that he didn't want to release his name is a bit fishy, but honestly it doesn't matter, because your "one" complaint isn't going to make any difference. Remember who your reporting the complaint to... his buddy, or pop's... in regards to how the police monitor themselves, it's the police policing the police...
just be glad he didn't pull a gun on you and have "involuntary muscle contraction" and put a bullet into your heart and end your life, like my ex-neighbor, Sal Culosi, http://www.reason.com/blog/show/117856.html. The officer,Deval V. Bullock, got three weeks of suspension without pay, and still works for FFX County police making 85+ grand a year.

Most cops I know are pretty cool. State troopers and Sheriffs. They put up with a lot of **** all day long from adults to have a kid start mouthing off...you sealed the deal of getting a ticket right there. you'll find out that if your calm polite and dont lie to them you will usually get a ticket or a low ball ticket. you will never win if your rude or mouthy. even if he was wrong...hes the law. haha.
didn't know the police could open your door and yank you out..
id look into it aside from the forums, it might be tough to prove because it is your word vs. their word.

too bad you didnt have a camera like that one guy who raped the whole police department by recording how the policeman acted, its amazing how a little power over someone can go to people's heads.
in NH that is illegal search. Either hire a lawyer and have fun or bend over like the rest of us. I got pulled dover in derry because of my ******* tint, no ticket though.
wow, fraking pigs!! I can't believe they can do that. Weren't you buckled in or did they reach across your lap to push the button, sorry Marines and attention to detail... Either way having a lawyer look at it and see if you can frak up that cops life may be worth it. Shoot a PM to lambopilot, isn't he a policeman?
Same sort of thing happend to me in UT i got puller over for speeding in my 2.8 a4

what the cops did is illegeal im currently studying in nj to be a nj state trooper and by law they have to ask you to search your car and u have the right at any give time to say ok thats enough and they have to stop. just as a senario say u had drugs in your glove boxu can allow an officer to search your car and if he starts to go to the box u can say ok i dont want this to continue and they by law have to stop, or what they find really canot be held against you because its an illegal search. i duno if that is in NH but they def have no right to just yank you out of the car and start searching without any probable cause get a lawyer and fight it
oh and for people saying about gettin pulled over for tint> tint any darker then 15 percent i belive is ticketable but its hard to determin values, but if its dark enough that you really cant see in the car clearly your gona get pulled over. the reason police do this is that it is a hazard to law enforcment not being able to see in the car puts the police in a very dangerous possition. you can if u want go to your doctor and have him write out a letter saying you have an eye condtion and the tint helps you drive that will get you out of the ticket. as for police cars with tint ie unmarked cars its so that when the police are driving they cant be seen and it some cicumstances not followed by someone who has it out for the police.
finally yes if your are polite to police things will go alot better. and if you really want to make an officer be more leient on you when you get pulled over if its night time turn your interior light on, and for everythign have your information ready turn your car off roll down your window and place your hands outside the window, this will create a safer inviroment for the officer and usally be more calm when coming up to your car

So much for "step out of the car, please." Sorry to hear about your luck. I dont know what your states "mod laws" are, but it could've been worse if he asked to pop the hood and you're rockin' the black aftermarket under there.
