Hi all, i just took delivery of my S4. Black on black with dark tinted windows.looks totally gangster!!Enjoying the low end torque. motor not very racy it seems more like a highway high velocity cruiser. just one problem im having, the car tends to understeer alot under "normal" driving, car seems to want to be floored out of a bend. whats the best way to enter a bend with quattro and how advanced is the ESP in saving you once things go awry??!!

Test drove an E46 M3 before buying it. My heart was set on it but it seemed to attract more attention in the 20min i had it then the S4 did in the week since i got it!! Plus the interior of the beemer really sucked, the car felt quicker, more fun and way better in the bends. i do think that i am driving the quattro incorrectly. My VR6 seems more composed in a bend! please help!hmm.....anybody got any tips in the best way of launching the S4 without doing too much damage to the Clutch)

 

Nice, the torque of the S4 down low is very good compared to the E46 M3 - the M3 is more funny when u by u self and can wring its neck: but round town its a bit harsh to live with

Just remmember the M3 is a bit more optioned than the S4 like Sat/Tv multi wheel etc

 

confused michael marc what you mean more optioned... the s4 comes with sat and sat radio, i belivethere is a multiwheel thingy.. i did the same thing..drove several e46 m3's and several b6 s4's.. i honestly love the m3 and really realy wanted one..but after driving both i really liked the s4 overall better... sure it didnt have the same performance..but the overall package was much nicer.. the interior was 10x better.

Err... sorry was thinking the 03/04 B6 S4 didnt have the Sat/Tv and Multi wheel - well down here they didnt

 

Here is a artical with the S4, M3 and AMG..... S4 won.
S4 is in its own league.

 

i love the look of the b6's but really dig the turbos on the b5's.....its a win win situation no matter how you look at it...congrats on your new whip...black on black ftw!!

 

hi thanks man!!yeah kinda enjoying it.getting to grips with driving the FWD!!!!!!seems more complicated than a normal RWD or FRWD. But im sure ill get the hang of it sooooon) any comments about using an induction kit on the S4?? power gains etc??should sound quite EVIL ??
