Default Just purchased a 2007 S4 Cabriolet

First would like to say hi to all here. Have owned a number of sports cars the last 7 years including Porsche Boxster S, BMW M3 SMG and last one was a Maserati Spyder GT. Then 2 years ago got tired of owning 2 cars, One a fun car and one I could drive in our New England Winters. So Isold the Maserati and got a Lexus GX470. Have been driving just that the last 2 years andstarted missing driving something fun. Have never owned an AUDI before but recently was reading about how they are good winter cars. So am now trading the Lexus for the S4. Performance was not my ultimate goal and enjoy top down driving so went with the Cabriolet. So now a couple questions. First are these cars really that hard to find? No dealerships in the Boston area have any. I am using IRA AUDI since I have bought a number of cars thru the IRA group. They have located one I like, 6 Speed,Blue Pearl, Convince package, Heated front seats and Carbon Trim. I am use to not getting much off since I buy many first year or in demand cars. Best they would do is take off $1,800. Does that sound about right? If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance Scott

Well it's been a little over a week and dealer still not able to secure a car for me, Blue one fell thru but they might have found a Phantom black one they can get. Are the S4cabriolets really that hard to find? They managed to find one for my brother, We are sort of odd and tend to get cars together, Went with him yesterday to pick up and was amazed at what a great ride the car gave as a convertible. Was very smooth with a nice tight feel. If they can't find me one soon I am tempted to just wait and put a deposit in for the new RS4 Cabriolet. Dealer told me there are still slots open for the limited production, I find that hard to believe as I read only 300 being built for the U.S. Anyone have any info on it?

Scott61 I live in the boston area as well and I would recommend trying the Audi dealership up in norwood or Rieztel Audi in Norwell (this is where i purchased my S4 anniversary)....I know for a fact that Rieztel Audi in Norwell have 2 or 3 convertible S4's in stock as we speak. I pass by it every day on my way to work so I would look into it there. If you want I know the guys pretty well down there and I could possibly get you an even better discount....don't qoute me on it but I will do my best if you are interested...let me know....the sales person to speak with down there is Paul Kaplan....tell him Andrew referred you.

Thanks Andrew, Have just had a couple talks with Paul and is a done deal. Gave deposit over phone and picking up tomorrow. They had 2 but one is sold. The one I could get is pretty close to what I wanted, 6 speed,Has every option available. Only thing is it's brilliant black and I would have a preferred the pearl phantom black. On the plus side it has silver interior which I preferred over the black that the Phantom black had. Again thanks for the tip
