FWIW, i have a k & N on mine and thats how MTM does their kit. From what ive been told from numberous people. The stock intake is pretty good on its own so if you have a high flow filter your set and that the cold air intakes dont do much for you and its kind of a waste of money.

The AWE S-Flo is great...it took about 20 minutes to pull off the upper part of the airbox and put it in. I like that it retains the stock look and isn't noisy like the exposed cone filters. I had an Evo intake on my old A4 and figured I'd go with the S-Flo for the S4 to try something different...definitely glad I did, the S-Flo is the better of the two.
