K03 rebuilds
Is there any k03 rebuild kit? I want to rebuild my passenger side turbo since its leaking oil into intercooler every few hundred miles. While the motor is out I was to rebuild both turbos so they last a while. Theres no smoke from the turbo out the exhaust so I think it just has bad seals.
Where can I find rebuild kits?

Save for K04s. You have to pull the engine whether your rebuilding one or replacing both. It would be a complete waste of money to rebuild one K03. What if a month later the other turbo goes? You going to the spend the 30 hours labor to pull the motor again? Do it right the first time.
Also im assuming you have an S4 now?

Don't waste your time rebuilding K03's, really. Even if you want to put K03s back in it because you don't want to wait to save for K04's buy barely used K03s on Ebay. You can get two on ebay cheaper than a rebuild.

I have purchased alot of my rebild kits from ebay. Dont go cheap here and pay for oem stuff if available. I rebuilt my own turbos for $150 and my labor.
I have a local diesel repair shop local. I have purchased a handful of kits from them but you have to pay for em. They usually only deal with oem kits.
When i get home i'll find the number to them and post it.
Good luck and remember to retain stock balancing. If you have any turbine damage than your gonna have to send the centers out for balancing @ $65 pc.
Any questions feel free to email me at

Hey, have you ever thought of putting in a bigger wheel, making it a K03/K04 hybrid? That is a thought as well, you will make some more power and I believe this could help with longevity but I could be wrong. I am not as proficient on K03 engineering (or any turbo[] )

hybriding is a good way to go but I've heard that the compressor housing can crack because the lack of aluminum from machining. Theres a company on ebay that sells complete hybrid turbos for audi that use bigger comp. housings and bigger wheels for 1500 but you get 400 back when you send tthem your old ones

seriously.. your pulling the engine.. just put in k04s or hybrids or something.. if you cant afford it wait.. thats just ridiculas.. even if you cant afford tuning.. just run it on your regular stock tune or apr or giac...
