ok from what i understand the k04 and the k03 are the same housing but the internal partsare different is this ture if so where can i buy just the internals like the two wheels and shaft and bearings any help???

 

well the BIGGEST difference is the compression wheel and no you cannot switch out the internals, because if you did then that would be rediculous cheap and everyone would have ko4's because then all you would have to do is get it balanced and all inside. I believe it is Jacobs turbos that rebuild them with some different internals but they are not truely reliable however an upgrade from ko3's.

 

The housings are slightly different also. This is why you have to install rs4 inlet pipes. The compressor inlet is larger in diameter than k03s.
