KO4s with 997TT Compressor Wheels
I just got back my turbos from being rebuilt from Blouch Turbo. First off, very professional company. They finished the rebuild in one day. I had them put larger compressor wheels in my turbos.
I wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with these. Do they product a lot more power than the stock KO4s?
I also decided to go with a new clutch and light weight flywheel from ECS Tunning. I got the stage III clutch (kevlar lined) and light weight flywheel. Anyone have this too that they could speak about their experience?
BTW I have 2001 S4.
Thanks!

NICE TO HEAR! Usually the larger wheels will facilitate 30-40 more HP assumming you have the fuel and tuning for it, but the real difference is that it will pull stronger in the top end. If you arent custom tuned youll still see gains but to take full advantage youll want a custom tune and 60# injectors
Could you PM me the price? I just need to find some blown K04's and im gonna get em hooked up. Good luck and have fun your now stage 3+!

I just PM'd you. Which are the 60# injectors? I have RS4 injectors. I'm assuming the 60# ones are found in the RS6?
Also, how do I go about getting it custom tuned. I'm totally new to this and I'm not sure what I need or where I go to get this done.
Thanks!

The rs4 injectors are good up to a point but you can cetainly max them out. Bigger injectors & maybe a fuel pump if you dont allready have one will make sure you always have fuel.
Where are you located there may be a good shop near by?

Theres plenty of upper east coast, west coast, and a few midwest tuners but im not sure about NM. You might be able to do some logging and send that to a tuner who can adjust your file to get some more power. Maybe someone else has some good advice on what to do
Thanks for the quick PM, did they clean up the housing at all so it looked new?

They did clean up the housing. They basically looked new. Mike was also very informative when I asked about my turbos. He said they were in the process of failing.
They were put in yesterday but the motor has to be put back in today and tomorrow.
On a side note, my mechanic has had one heck of a time getting the engine out. He doesn't anticipate the same problems going in but has anyone had problems getting the motor out? It's an extremely tight space and he had trouble getting it disconnected from the transmission.
Thanks guys!

Ya I did but then it again it was my first time pulling a motor out of a car so that could explain it. Can you also PM with blouch info. and the prices you paid? I have the ko3s that I want to rebuild before they go in but was thinking about dropping in a ko4 comprssor wheel. Do you have the wheels?
