Josh i got one question for you. When you have the giac x ecu set on the pump performance mode, and you floor the car from like 40. Does your tranny when it shifts kinda stall for a second and then kick in or does it shift smoothly???
I heard its a common problem and that you need a tip chip which im looking into getting. Just wanted to see if you were experiencing the same problem since you have a tip also.

yeah i got a 5 program giac x chip. i have pump performance, stock,valet, kill and race mode. I switch it with the giac flashloader software for the comp and a usb cable that hooks up to the car. Im cruising like 40 in 5th gear and then when i use the kick down featre only when it shifts from like 2-3 it like slips for a second and then catches on.

I don't drive in auto EVER! Unless i am on cruise control on the freeway. What you are probably getting is gear hunting which is a normal thing when in auto. Try switching to TIP mode and I will bet your problem will be gone.
