Hi, I was just wondering the average life of the 2.7t motor before a rebuild? I know that turbo and sc motors are usually built with stronger internals then regular. I drove my t-bird sc for almost 250,000 before rebuild can I expect this kind of life from my 01 s4? Thanks

 

Thanks for the info. Mobile 1 synthetic motor oil, ok. Audi filters? How bout differentials, pwr steering, brake res. etc..also synthetic?

 

the 2.7t is an extremely stong engine. It is very durable, anf hte only acual problems is the eventual gasket replacement. The turbos are a different story, but hte engine is wuite reliable.
