Hey guys, I wonder if I can get some help here? My locks just stopped working, I can’t open or close them with the remote or from the lock switch on the driver side door. All I can do is open and closethe driver side door with the key. My alarm is working fine, the remote is arming it & disarming it fine. I do have the blitz turbo timer, but the in-line fuse is good & all other fuses are also good. Is there a relay I should look at? I’m really hoping it’s not the central locking module. I don’t have a VAG, just a OBD 2 scanner which won’t do anything for me as I have no check engine light on. Any suggestions would be great, thanks….

 

My bet is the TT, Vag it for codes, the central lock will throw codes.

Yup, you can read stored codes that will not throw a CEL. You can also test the locks air pump.

 

i had the same problem with mine too, my key hole in the steering collum was not making a connection when the key was off so it was thinking the key was still in when it wasnt and wouldnt alow me to lock the doors remotly only with the key physically
