its a 2000 s4 with the stock rims, and holy sh*t these things are heavy, talk about unsprung weight. im looking stay at 17", i realy see no point in going bigger, bigger only means heavier. wider i would go, where can i find some super lightweight wheels that will fit the S4, and i dont want them to be some ricer looking gangsta rim, i have searched the web but only find big fancy things or ricer rims, any input is appreciated.

dude why dont you look at the top of the s car forum where it says "S4 WHEEL GUIDE".

i mean you can do a yahoo search and find sites to buy any rim you want and all you have to do is put in s4 for the car and it will come up with every wheel available for your car but you gotta be careful as well cause the hp2 calipers on the s4 are big so you have to find an awkward offset..you'll learn that theres not many wheels for this car..and also if you stay at 17 then you will not be able to do a BBK with those rims you will have to upgrade to atleast 18's..18's is the way to go if your buying rims and wanna stay small..dotn go bigger then 19's..19's is really common for s4's..

 

Iv heard issues of deceased ride quality with 19" wheels. Some websites list the weight of the wheel, just find a wheel that you like, that will fit, and is lighter than stock.

 

do u have a price range ? thats the biggest issue. cause thats a HUGE difference...anything from 1,000 ACE wheels, or 2-3,000 Volk, or Work wheels, OR 3,000++++ and u get something like HRE, BBS, Avus, pretty much anything forged. Personaly the wheels im looking into are.... Work Emotion CR Kai's in the MAchined Gun Metal, and also loooking into Volk TE-37 (time attack edition) black with red lip.

anyone know how wide we can go? i think the stocks are 8.5"?I was looking at 9" for summer tires/ wheels. Someone mention the Enkei RPM2's.. i kinda like them, almost like the LM's.

usually 245 rubber starts to rub on some cars and you can fit that on an 8.5 Its really all up to you

 

go with these kosei rims....i have em...weigh in at 14lbs a piece...they are specifically made to be lightweight. may not be the best looking, but make a huge difference in my opinion.
