alright so i plan on picking up an s4 in the next few months. Before i start spending money on mods i want to make sure that everything on my car is ok. So that being said other than the obvious timing belt replacement, what else should i look at replacing or other things maintenance wise that would have to be done. Thanks.

Upgrading the DVs and installing a BiPipe would be a good start if it's a B5.

 

would it be worth it to get a hyperboost dv or other more expensive dv compared to the Bosh 710n's? any noticeable difference?

 

My stock DVs are still going strong so I haven't tried the 710ns or the Hyperboosts. Personally I'd go for the Hyperboosts because I'm wanting to chip soon. I hear they're a little more durable than the Bosch valves.
