RE: Lowering?
hey i have a b5 s4 which i purchased not to long ago and im having the same problem in getting the "right" look, Idont want a bumpy ride. I was lookin at some H&R springs which go for $259.00 and lower the car 1.4" in the front and 1.3" in the back.
Dont know if this helps at all.

RE: Lowering?
Theres a bunch of posts on this topic - just search the forums.. I'm looking at Suspension as my next mod too -
seems like the spring & shock combo H&R / Bilstein is one of the popular setups if youre not to set on adjustability..
Bilstein also can add "grooves" to the shocks to give you an additional 1/2" to 1/4" of adjustability...

RE: Lowering?
I just purchased an S4 as well. I dont want to turn the car into a money pit, so i went with the H&R spring Bilstein shock combo instead of Coilovers. I also picked up a used APR catback for under $300 bucks. Just shop around and you can get some good deals.
